The best All Inclusive in Spain

All inclusive hotels in Spain are some of the most complete ones in the world. Although most of the hotels have specializing in specific types of travelers, the truth is that they have not left behind this type of board that allow us to enjoy a holiday full of comforts and and a fixed budget.

The advantages of All inclusive are clear: avoiding sudden surprises, get better rates and special discounts, specially those who travel with family or with a group, expenses control, complete services, access to almost all the facilities of the establishment (there are certain areas that need an extra charge, as for example the spa and beauty areas), entertainment and parties…

There are also disadvantages: they are usually related to low-rated hotels, with a lower quality service, with limited access to special areas or to VIP services, in some hotels you cannot book a superior room or a suite in an All Inclusive board…

Bearing in mind this, an All inclusive holiday is still one of the favorite options of travelers in Spain, specially those who come from other country or travel with children.

For all those who still prefer an All inclusive, some chains have designed a more complete and sophisticated service, with the same high quality of other boards, and prices really affordable and advantageous. This is the case of the best All inclusive in Spain: Iberostar Anthelia a spa hotel in the south of Tenerife, located in Costa Adele and offering all the facilities of a 5-star accommodation in Tenerife, with special packages for families, couples and groups of friends.

This is not what we say, this is what, after 3 consecutive years, the Tripadvisor’s users have said after visiting this hotel: on their opinion, it is the most complete All inclusive among all the hotels offered by Spain.

Nevertheless, there are many other options in other destinations that have also received good reviews of their guests.  We are talking about, for example, Iberostar Son Antem, another 5-star hotel of Iberostar chain, located in Majorca, very close to Palma; Fergus Style Pollensa Park Spa or Fergus Style Cala Blanca Suites, both of them belonging to Fergus chain and situated in two of the main areas in the coast of Majorca.

The best way to save money when booking an All inclusive is by taking advantage of early booking deals that almost all the accommodations in Spain offer. Before March, prices and rates could have up to 30% off. Besides, this offers you the advantage of choosing among all the rooms and services of the hotel, since hotels are practically available in their entirety.

Travelling with children: trending destinations

Family holidays are still an important diving force of the Spanish tourism. Although during 2014, Spaniards have reduced the number of trips to national destinations in search of places beyond the borders, families are still a main figure in local tourism: people travel with children especially around Spain: the Catalonian coast and Andalusia, along with the islands, are the favourite destinations.

But, in the same way, new tendencies are beginning to stand out in this country. Sun and beach have been essential at the time of travelling with children, but it is less and less common. Nature, ecological camps, towns where you can know the rural and quiet life, learn a new sport, attend English courses… these are some of the most successful motivations when choosing the destination to visit with children.

In fact, figures from Familitur tourism survey show that in last years the rural tourism has been gaining ground in this sense and, along with it, destinations which are not precisely the first image on your mind when you think of the classic holidays. Avilés, in Asturias; Nigrán and Balona, in the Galician Rías Baixas, Castile and León, Santander…

Besides these new destination, there is more demand in coasts targeted at family and traditional holidays, such as Maresme coast, in Barcelona, with family hotels in Calella, Santa Susanna and Pineda de Mar.

There is also an upturn in Granada: Almuñécar and Motril, and the demand for holiday hotels in Fuengirola remains in force; likewise, the demand increase in the wonderful beaches of Calas de Conil and Chiclana, specifically in the area of hotels next to La Barrosa, one of the most recommended beaches for children in the entire coast of Cádiz. Hotels in Cabo de Gata, Almeria, with spaces for sports and wellness are also benefited from this new rise in the number of national tourists travelling with family.

Islands never fail

Beach and sunshine guaranteed. They offer diversified services and provide a range of experiences which cover almost all the things the peninsula can offer, but in a limited territory, therefore more controllable, manageable, and safe: what all the families look for. This is why it is so successful season after season.

The most visited by families are still beach destinations with several services. Hotels for children in Tenerife, All inclusive hotels in Costa Adeje and hotels with miniclub in Majorca get the main part of the bookings, although customers are opting for diversity and choosing more specific destinations and more specialized accommodations such as the theme hotels for families or beach resorts for children in Lanzarote and Tenerife which are standing out since a couple of years ago.

Here is a list with the most visited places during the three last holiday season:

–        Alcudia and Playa de Muro (North of Majorca)

–        Puerto del Carmen (Lanzarote)

–        Calella, Santa Susanna and, specially, Pineda de Mar (Maresme)

–        Punta Umbría (Huelva)

–        Cabo de Gata and Roquetas de Mar (Almería)

The latest in hotels: the All Inclusive Urban

The tourism sector keeps surprising us with new formulas and proposals to conquer and surprise the travellers. There are options for all tastes, pockets and ages: Adults Only Hotels, Picapiedra Hotels, Hotels for Friends… And all of them are totally specialised so that they can offer a personalised service to the detail.

One of the last proposals we have found is the All Inclusive Urban concept, recently inaugurated by the Spanish chain Barceló Hotels. It is a renovated concept of urban hotels which bet on offering their guests an All Inclusive service, but without giving up the exclusivity, the design and the personalisation that characterise the city hotels.

This service is undeniably a modern revision of the classic All Inclusive applied to urban hotels, but Barceló has managed to give it a special touch which makes it unique and personal, and which makes a urban accommodation become a complete holiday destination.

The All Inclusive Urban is a formula specially designed for family holidays or for business, incentive or group trips, as it offers many possibilities inside the hotel, ideal for those who need a comfortable, well-equipped space full of commodities which make their stay easier: rooms and menus for the whole family, conference centres and meeting rooms, swimming pool, parking, wifi access…

One of the Barceló hotels that has already introduced this service is the Barceló Cáceres V Centenario, an exclusive 4-star hotel close to the old town, with suites and specialised services for corporate clients.
