Incredible beaches for those who love beautiful landscapes

There is one thing all of us working with the blog Hotels & Destinations can agree on, and it’s that we’re all devoted to beaches. We love them; they relax us and fills us with life. Could there really be anything better than enjoying a holiday on an infinite beach with fine sand and the sun bronzing our bodies, listening to the sound of the waves – that authentic soundtrack? No: without doubt, there isn’t.

July is traditionally the summer-holiday month number one. All you have to do is to choose a destination and set your sights on that special beach where you can just be, give in to relaxation and disconnect. For those of you who have still not decided where to go this summer of 2017, we can suggest three beaches that will leave you speechless.

Es Trenc, the blue pearl of Mallorca

Those who know Mallorca will give an account of Es Trenc stating that there’s no need to go to the Bahamas. With fine sand, a landscape of dunes you will fall in love with and beautiful, crystal-clear turquoise water, this beach is ideal for those who want to relax in a setting without too much tourism and far from main towns.

The fact that there are hotels like Cala Millor Garden Hotel a mere 20 minutes away by car makes this beach a magnet for those looking for beautiful spots on the Balearic island.

Huelva and the pure Atlantic

On our last trip with Garden Playanatural Hotel & Spa as a base we could confirm that among all the beautiful beaches all over this country, the most amazing ones are found in the province of Huelva.

Even if the most well-known ones are those by Punta Umbría and Matalascañas, we mustn’t forget that there are in fact other beaches too in the area that shouldn’t be forgotten, with a more natural beauty, such as Cartaya and El Rompido. Kilometres and kilometres of natural environment for those who love great beaches.

The Mediterranean in Almería

Another destination that we love is Almería, one of the most overlooked provinces in Andalusia, but also one of the most natural and authentic ones. Our two favourites? The beach Las Salinas and, of course, the amazing beach Cabo de Gata. A unique place with a unique landscape where you can also find great hotels such as Cabogata Mar Garden Hotel & Spa.

Are you hunting high and low for summer holiday destinations?

A new calendar month is around the corner, the month of January is heading for its place at the end of the line and yes… it’s still cold, but it’s a different kind of cold and there’s a lot more sun. You’ve already noticed how the days are getting longer and how those months leading up to summer are approaching, and this is when it’s time to choose a travel destination – to enjoy your holiday in a well-researched location and at the best available price.

Early Booking is becoming increasingly popular, and a majority of destinations compete with each other, presenting interesting offers for leisure and relax. We’ll suggest three of them this month, three that never fail: Ibiza, Tenerife and Mallorca. It does sound good, doesn’t it?

Iberostar Santa Eulalia

Iberostar Santa Eulalia

Ibiza, the island that never sleeps

Couples, families, singles and groups of friends, there is room for all here on the white island of Ibiza. Known for its beaches and summer nights partying until dawn, the Balearic island has other places to offer that exist side-by-side with this bustling, frenetic lifestyle. Locations such as Santa Agnes or Santa Eulalia del Río where you can experience the real Ibiza. Also, finding a good hotel in Santa Eulalia, Ibiza is relatively easy since there are many who have chosen this area for their headquarters.

From enjoying golden sunsets to strolling along the nature trails, the truth is that this  destination always leaves you with a nice feeling inside, a feeling that this is a place you’ll always want to return to. The best month to enjoy it as it ought to be enjoyed? May, June, the first weeks in July and September.

Tenerife, a passion for everything natural

Territory of the Teide: Tenerife is a place where nature and authenticity is waiting around every corner and at every beach, which is why choosing it as a holiday destination is a winning idea. For those looking for peace and quiet nothing could be better than choosing a hotel in the south of Tenerife, one of the areas preferred by families who want to relax rather than go partying until dawn.

The good thing about the Canary Islands is that thanks to their lovely climate you can visit them all year round, so don’t hesitate to spoil yourself with a getaway during these months if what you’re looking for is getting away from the routine.

Mallorca, the perfect destination

Mallorca is beautiful, we know that for a fact. But there’s something else about it too: Mallorca is a destination that has it all… It’s the perfect place, in the perfect location and with a perfect climate where it’s never too cold or too hot. The Mediterranean in its purest state with landscapes that look like they’ve been created by some world-famous artist.

The areas in the south of the island (such as Playa de Palma) are mostly frequented by younger travellers and the north of Mallorca is the ideal option for those looking for a quiet holiday as a family in one of the many hotels in Alcudia. Just like Ibiza, the best months to visit the island without too much hustle and bustle are May, June, the first weeks of July and September.

Coastal destinations for a New Year’s Eve full of leisure and gourmet food

With a little more than three weeks to go before we taste the traditional and very plentiful Christmas Eve dinner with the family, a lot of people begin to study the possible options for how to spend the last night of the year. Beyond eating the twelve midnight grapes to bring luck in destinations like Madrid (an option that has become very fashionable in recent years) we mustn’t ignore other possibilities that can give the night of the 31st of December a new and original touch.

Although the option of a New Year’s Eve on the coast is no attraction for those who live at the seaside, the truth is that this idea can mark a memorable ‘before and after’ in the holidays of all those who reside in the interior of our country. What are the coast destinations that lend themselves to a different New Year’s Eve? Takes note: Almería, Huelva and Castellón.

The white magic of Mojácar

A New Year’s Eve surrounded by the magic of a small white village lying on a hillside with an Almerian flavor; that and much more is offered by a destination like Mojácar. Considered one of the most beautiful destinations in the province of Almeria, this small town is characterized by its originality and its excellent 100% Andalusian gourmet food; a cuisine that achieves excellence in hotels such as the FERGUS Style Palacio Mojacar SPA.

Beyond its cultural richness, Mojácar is a perfect place for those who seek to be in contact with nature since there are lots of varied routes for cyclists and hikers with specially adapted paths and unique sea views.

Playa de Matalascañas

Playa de Matalascañas

Matalascañas, nature and pure gourmet food

In one of the friendliest areas of the Atlantic is Matalascañas, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the province of Huelva. Kingdom of the traditional fried choquito and the red prawns of Huelva, its realms are perfect for experiencing a different and very Southern New Year’s Eve and incidentally, the place doesn’t die when the summer ends.

You can choose a hotel to enjoy long and rewarding golf sessions, such as those that can be found in the FERGUS Style El Cortijo Golf, or opt for a holiday full of water sports and walks along its kilometers of beaches.

An end of the year in the Mediterranean

They say that few places are as beautiful as Costa Azahar, in Castellón. With its views of the Mediterranean sea and all that is good in the Valencian area to recommend it, the idea of spending the end of the year there is a great one.

A winning idea? Choose a beachfront hotel (like he FERGUS Alcoceber) to welcome in the New Year with the best view in our country.

Changing mature destinations

The Balearic Islands, Benidorm, Eastern Spain, Marbella, Malaga coast or the Canary Islands are usually called the mature tourist destinations in Spain. Overexploited tourist areas are called mature areas, where average age of hotel facilities is over a decade and they offer traditional holiday concepts from the 60s.

A lot of areas are starting their reconversion and a renewal process to offer travellers new attractions apart from their natural resources (amazing beaches).

Views from IBEROSTAR Bahía de Palma Hotel

Views from IBEROSTAR Bahía de Palma Hotel

A great example of a mature tourist area is Playa de Palma, offering a great location in Majorca, near the centre of Palma (ten minutes drive) and the airport, and with the biggest beach in Palma Bay. The developments made by the private sector in this area are committed to the hospitality industry. Therefore, there’s an increasing number of spa hotels in Playa de Palma like IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts, which offers a different type of hotel for each traveller group: Adults Only hotels, athlete hotels, family hotels in Playa de Palma… Their hotels meet all travellers needs.
The other mature tourist destinations are committed to develop higher quality hotels offering more competitive facilities and attracting travellers with high purchasing power.  We are talking about areas of family hotels in Costa Adeje, the exclusive Adults Only hotels in Costa Adeje, the hotels in Marbella and other places in Costa del Sol -mostly addressed to golf travellers- and some exclusive areas in Benidorm.

The complementary offer is also increasing: more beach clubs, chill outs and new bars and restaurants oriented to people looking for exclusive places with a relaxing atmosphere at the beach.  Design cafes, international brand shops, sport schools offering a wide range of activities (for example cycle tourism in Playa de Palma is really important, and hotels have special facilities for cyclists).

The public sector still needs to be more committed to this new business development in Spain, as tourism remains as the main economic activity in areas like Majorca, the Canary Islands or Benidorm. This could accelerate these changes and the new direction of the tourism industry, but we are on the right track.

Start planning your holidays right now

The winter, the cold, and Christmas are coming… and this is the perfect moment of the year for booking your holidays saving a good amount of money. The Early Booking campaign is to start, the hotels are commercialising almost all their rooms (except those offered directly by OTAs and tour operators, agencies, etc), all types of rooms are available and planning ahead of time is a must, as this guaranties hotels a high occupancy rate.

Discounts of up to the 30 and 40% are offered depending on the hotel and the destination. Besides, making a reservation on the official website of the hotels you will be able to save the price added by the intermediaries and you will have the guaranty of the direct booking. This is an advantage if you are travelling with children or you need any special service, as you can manage your reservation directly with the hotel and avoid later negative surprises during your holidays.

The reservation of rooms in Majorca, Barcelona, Canary Islands or Andalusia, which are some of the most typical destinations, is cheaper during these months previous to January/February. The prices of the hotels in Tenerife -areas such as Costa Adeje, for example- or the hotels in Jandia, Fuerteventura, do not fluctuate much by season, as this is a sun and beach destination with an unchangeable weather, although you may get small discounts with early bookings. The All Inclusive Hotels and the beach resorts in Lanzarote, Tenerife and Fuerteventura are the most versatile establishments, as they have a long high season.

The hotels on the coast of Andalusia are a good alternative at competitive and adjusted prices: resorts in Cabo de Gata or the great hotels in Huelva may offer discounts of up to the 50%. However, you need to make an at least 7-night reservation in specific types of rooms.

If you want to book a  hotel in Puerto Pollensa or a hotel in Cala Millor, which are very popular areas during summer in Majorca, we recommend you to make your reservation before January. As the year progresses, specially after the Holy Week, price rise considerably. The same happens with the hotels on Calvia’s coast, both with the hotels for families in Magaluf and with the hotels in Santa Ponsa or the accommodations in Costa de la Calma.

Whenever you make a reservation with discounts, read carefully the conditions, as the most exclusive services you might be interested in may not be included. The spas, special dinners in the à la cart restaurant, premium drinks or sport activities are rarely included in the offers and must be booked separately. The All Inclusive service may be an alternative for these cases, specially if you are travelling with your family and you want to enjoy a worry-free trip.

Do not forget to compare prices, and although Booking and Expedia apparently offer the best rate, check out the official websites of the hotels or the chains as in many cases, as in the case of Iberostar, these websites offer the lowest price and a 5% discount for those who find a lower price in other websites.

Ideas for travelling before New Year’s Eve

Countdown for the end of 2015. Supermarkets are crammed with nougat candies, firms start to look for a day for the business meals, mum has already called 5 times to organise Christmas gatherings… Everything smells of Christmas and we are still on November. But do not let yourself be carried away by the social Christmas frenzy and take a break before Christmas Eve. Make the most of your last holidays and enjoy a getaway on December’s long weekend. It’s now or never. Carpe diem and let’s dream.

We have asked different travel experts for advice and they have given us some ideas for travelling at the end of the year that will help you find the perfect excuse for getting into the adventure. Unique accommodations, snow and mountain destinations, getaways to the Mediterranean looking for the sun… Everything. Take note. And keep us informed about your plans 😉

Plan 1) Sierra Nevada from the highest mountain hotel in Europe

Do you fancy a snow getaway, taking out the skis, escaping from the city, getting to Granada and crowning Sierra Nevada? Then this is the perfect option for you. This year stay in a 5-star hotel with spa, gourmet gastronomy, state-of-the-art services in Monachil and direct access to the slopes: the Vincci Selección Rumaykiyya. It is said to be the highest hotel in Europe, and it is definitely a paradise for winter sport lovers. The average prices are about 150 euros per night (taxes included).

Plan 2) Madrid with friends

Few destinations are as versatile and varied as Madrid for a winter getaway. During these dates, the capital shines more than ever, with endless plans, parties, new theatre and music shows and irresistible gastronomic options. Regarding the accommodation, Madrid is relatively cheap when talking about a good hotel in the centre (the best option if you want to travel around the heart of the city without worries). There are very interesting design hotels in Madrid for groups: the Clíper Gran Vía Hotel or the Alcalá Torre Hotel are two good examples, as both feature spacious and fully equipped rooms ideal to be shared. If you want to surprise your group of friends, the Vincci Capitol, located in the same building as the mythical cinema theatre of Madrid, may be the perfect option for you.

Plan 3) 5-star Majorca

The summer island may also be a perfect plan for winter. The actions taken to make Majorca’s capital, Palma, a complete destination for any time of the year are yielding positive results and today’s option is attractive enough for a long relax and leisure holiday in the city, beyond the typical sun and beach. If you do not want to miss any plan, either you travel with your family or with friends, the best option is getting an accommodation near Palma, like the resorts and hotels in Playa de Palma, which will allow you to stay within a 15 minute drive to the city centre, to which they are connected through a pleasant seaside promenade ideal for walking or cycling. Prices are affordable during this time of the year, whenever you do not include New Year’s Eve, when prices rise again.

Cabogata Garden Hotel, Almería

Cabogata Garden Hotel, Almería

Plan 4) Almeria, nature and sea

Maybe you haven’t thought of planning a getaway to Almeria in winter before, but it is during these months when the Andalusian capital shows a special charm and colours. Its stunning natural landscapes, full of contrasts and with the Cabo de Gata Níjar Natural Park as its main exponent, make it an ideal destination for nature, outdoor sports and trekking lovers. But Almeria is much more, it is relax and good gastronomy. Almeria’s gastronomy is one of its hallmarks: do not miss the opportunity to try some of the typical specialities of this magic land. Regarding accommodation, the most recommended establishments are the resorts in Cabo de Gata, near the park. Prices are usually cheap and include exclusive services.

Plan 5) Caceres, a paradise of golf and peaceful ambience

Heritage, culture, calmness and nature come hand-in-hand in Caceres to offer you the perfect winter getaway. The most interesting option is planning a trip to Isla Valdecañas, a natural oasis specially designed for the wellness and leisure of the most demanding travellers of the XXIst century. The most recommended accommodation in Isla Valdecañas is the boutique hotel near the Monfragüe Natural Park, which includes access to the spa, horse riding school, sport courts, areas for events, swimming pools, golf courts, gastronomy… It is a 4-star hotel with a good quality price ratio ideal for travelling with your couple or with children.

Plan 6) Barcelona and its coast

Visiting the great capital of the Mediterranean is always a good option, but we recommend you to travel along its coast. If you love outdoor sports, quiet villages and traditional cuisine, this coastal area will offer you everything you need for your last 2015 holidays. Besides, it is the cheapest plan of all: the hotels on Barcelona’s coast offer good prices and a wide variety of options which include from the classic hotels in Calella and the hotels in Costa Brava, specially designed for relax and entertainment, to the hotels in Santa Susanna or the accommodations in Pineda de Mar. All of them offer a good personal attention and exceptional locations.

Your last 2015 holidays… Snow, golf or an urban trip?

Already in November, we do not have any alternative than accepting that days are getting shorter and Christmas is just around the corner, so it’s time to prepare our farewell to the 2015. But relax, we still have time for a last getaway: December’s long weekend. So let’s concentrate and look for a place where to escape from the frantic rhythm of the cities for at least 4 days before the nougat candies, the family gatherings, the stress of the Christmas shopping and business meals.

Winter getaway

Nothing better to accept that winter is coming than plunging into it. The offers for the snow getaways are already available, you just need to choose a destination and a hotel. So here comes our proposal:

– After having looked for different options, we choose the cold of the south, which is less extreme… And for the accommodation, we have chosen a hotel in Sierra Nevada at the foot of the slopes. A 5-star hotel for you to pamper yourself with a luxury getaway before Christmas and to conclude the 2015 as you deserve. Goodbye stress, goodbye routine, let’s enjoy the snow, the sport, the adventure and the luxury. A little of what you fancy does you good. The hotel is one of the most exclusive ski hotels in Spain, where you will even find plans for those who are not good at skiing and surfing the slopes. Gastronomy, spa and a lot of calmness in a stunning setting: Monachil.

Golf getaway

If you are already an amateur, we are not going to tell you anything you do not know. But if you have not tried golf before, this might be your opportunity.

Extremadura.- The idea is booking a golf hotel in Valdecañas, Cáceres, an exceptional natural setting with thousands of square metres of natural landscapes, golf courts, sport and wellness services, gastronomy, activities for children… It is a 4-star resort in Valdecañas Island, surrounded by lagoons and spaces for relax with an excellent quality price ratio and ideal for a family getaway. The golf services are the best in Spain.

Vincci Valdecañas Golf

Vincci Valdecañas Golf

Urban getaway

And we have lots of options here… Choosing a destination is not easy when there are so many options available: Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Bilbao, Valencia, Palma de Majorca… We have chosen an accommodation in every city so that you choose the one that best suits your interests.

Madrid.– This is the best time of the year for visiting the capital. These days of December the capital shines more than ever: its traditional stew, its tapas, its “huevos rotos” (scrambled eggs), the croquettes in San Miguel Market… The idea is staying in a hotel in the centre of Madrid. There is a lot of variety here, but we highlight two options with a good quality price ratio: Petit Palace Alcalá Torre (located in one of the most emblematic buildings of the city) and the Vincci Capitol (located on the foundations of the mythical cinema theatre and with a decoration inspired in the seventh art).

Barcelona.- Design urban Mediterranean to full power. Culture, art and innovation. If you want to close the year with a funny getaway full of plans, unique and cool proposals.. Barcelona is the place to be. Savouring a mouthwatering brunch, relaxing by the sea, visiting a few exhibitions, having a walk around the historic centre and enjoying the modernism, discovering nightlife and getting the last fashion tendencies. Everything. And for a place to stay, we recommend you two accommodations: a hotel near Ramblas, at the heart of the city; and a design hotel near Diagonal Mar shopping centre.

Seville.- Y olé. If you cannot stand extreme hot, December is the best time of the year for a visit to Seville. In Seville the rain may be fabulous, as it becomes the best excuse for visiting tavern after tavern, enjoying its fabulous gastronomy, its lively atmosphere, its welcoming people and its special colours. Flamenco, history, art and tradition come hand-in-hand in this lively capital of Andalusia. We recommend you two hotels in the centre of Seville so that you can enjoy the city with comfort: one in Santa Cruz neighbourhood and the other one a 4-star hotel in Seville with good communications with the main tourist attractions: the Petit Palace Marqués de Santa Ana.

Culture: an essential trip motivation

These are bad times for culture. The economic crisis that has affected administrations and private investments has reduced the quantity and quality of what we can enjoy in Spain. Nevertheless, fight continues and it seems that, right now, with few money, is when both institutions and businessmen notice that the cultural plans of a destination can make the difference and it can even turn it into one of the most efficient tools to make tourism less dependent on seasonal factors in Spain.

Culture has been always one of the most important travel motivations, especially in urban destinations. Cities of all over the world have worked in this concept and have polished it making it the philosopher’s stone for their tourism. Bilbao is a great example in Spain, as well as Barcelona, and now Madrid is also standing out in this sense.

Hotels in the centre of Barcelona and Madrid have joined this cause and there are many accommodation in these cities giving their guests tickets and cultural plans as incentives to close a sale. Musicals, museums with high quality temporary exhibitions, concerts or festivals… Now we see how initiatives like the indie music festival BBK Live, that this month is celebrating 10 years of existence, have achieved to fill hotels in the centre of Bilbao in dates that used to be deserted because of the high competition of beach destinations.

The same happened with the pioneer celebration in the capital of Catalonia, that year after year fill the rooms in the centre of Barcelona with the celebration of two of the most powerful music festivals in the country: Primavera Sound and Sonar, every one with a special style and combined during the year with other both professional and leisure events: opera seasons, concerts of big international groups, football, design and fashion catwalks…

Madrid, which has been always much related to the business trade thanks to the unstoppable schedule of IFEMA, is gaining ground in terms of culture. Besides the classic musicals that have always attracted a large number of tourists to the capital, they are investing in theatre, live music and specially, in gastronomy. Yes, gastronomy as a cultural option… or the bar culture, but in a more select way than now: tapas specialising in different tours, gourmet restaurants with unique proposals, renovated markets such as San Miguel, next to Plaza Mayor… This type of events and cultural attractions of the city (which keeps opting for night as its mainstay) are filling hotels in the centre of Madrid even during summer months, and not precisely with foreigners.

Cultural plans for children are also an important investment in the main cities of Spain, as well as cinema: some examples are San Sebastián and Málaga, which have made their film festivals a real international attraction. In fact, it is not strange if the first thing you see in hotels in the centre of Málaga and San Sebastián is a fully booked poster during these dates.

Cultural industry keeps thinking that efforts to support these initiatives are very few. The cultural VAT (21%) is not very helpful. This is the current battle: to achieve a more affordable access to culture for all social classes because there are all types of travellers and affordable prices are always welcome.

Immerse yourself in Costa Brava

Immersed in the heart of the Costa Brava. There we go, exploring the secrets of one of the most visited and admired coasts in Catalonia, a place where you can easily enjoy the beautiful scenery of sea and nature, where you might even run out of time to see and experiment it all. Blanes, Tossa de Mar (yes, the locations where one of the most famous Estrella Damm commercials was recorded), S’Agaró, Palamós, Playa d’Aro… Magical places in spite of the pressure of tourism invading the coasts every summer.

Among the must-see places there is Blanes botanical garden, where you can find samples of the unique autochtone species and exotical flowers. An indescribable experience of so many colours and smells followed by a visit of the highest point of the cliff where it is located and from where you can savour stunning sea views.

Another garden you should visit is the Santa Clotilde garden. If you are staying in a hotel in Lloret de Mar, it will only be a stone’s throw away. It is a huge garden inspired on the famous gardens in Paris, but with wonderful views over the Mediterranean sea. Luxuriant vegetation with its infinite green tones, stairways, fountains, charming little squares… All of it only a few metres from the beach.

The municipal library of Lloret is a great centre of incessant activities. It offers interesting plans everyday of the year, from exhibitions to reading workshops and book presentations. Next to it, the Casal de l’Obrera offers theatres for all tastes, the Plaza de la Vila invites you to its festivals and local street markets, and Lloret beach will please any sporty person with its large variety of watersports, even traditional fishing demonstrations.

If you book a room in Lloret de Mar you will have the comfort to walk all around the city, without needing any transport. Although it is recommended to rent a bike and visit the surroundings: a perfect way to keep fit enjoying a beautiful scenery.

Don’t forget to save a day during your visit to go for a tour of the town’s Indiano and modernist legacy, eat at one of the traditional restaurants close to the beach, get closer to the Sant Romá church, stroll about the so-called Ronda roads which are the perfect way to discover the cost of the village, go up the hill next to the beach and climb to the Sant Joan castle…

Immerse yourself in Costa Brava and tell us about it: there are a thousand and one experiences you will be willing to share!

Plan your 2015 holiday now!

Dreaming of the beach in January? Relax, all we are dreaming of. Holiday seem to be so far but we already have the possibility of using our imagination to bear the winter. But to satisfy our thirst, we propose you to start from now. Yes,  star your holiday plan now!

First. Choosing the destination. This 2015 some Andalusian places are a must visit, for example Cádiz, Cáceres which will be the gastronomic capital of Spain during the entire year, the omnipresent Madrid, which has reinvented the tourist plans and has become an ideal destination to travel all the year round. Of course, we could not miss the classic Majorca, Ibiza or the Canary Islands, specially the south of Fuerteventura or Corralejo and Lanzarote.

The coast of Barcelona in summer or Cabo de Gata in Almería. Fuengirola for families, as well as the north, with Bilbao as the big capital where we can find music, gastronomy and nature everywhere. Which you prefer?

Barcelona coast

Barcelona coast

The next step is choosing a hotel. If it is clear that our first holiday destination is Madrid, we propose you some of its 4-star hotels in Madrid de los Austrias, the emblematic Posada del Peine, Petit Palace Mayor Plaza or a hotel in La Gran Vía close to everything you need.

If, on the contrary, you are still dreaming of beach, take advantage of the offers and book now your Holy Week in any of the islands: 5-star hotels in Majorca have wonderful deals during this first period of the year, so you can pamper yourself without many expenses.

Another beach holiday alternative is booking a resort in Jandia for couples or families, depending on the type of holidays you are planning. Jandia is the southern area of Fuerteventura, a place with paradisiacal beaches and really affordable prices.

Corralejo, in the north of the island, is a bit more expensive, since it is considered as one of the top destinations in the last years, so it boasts a high demand. Nevertheless, it is really worth it: it is an oasis of peace and tradition where you can enjoy the quietness as a couple, an amusing trip with your friends, you can practice windsurf, hike with the kids… Everything at your disposal.

Have you chosen Tenerife? Here the most recommended is to stay in a family resort in Costa Adeje, so you do not have to give up anything and you can travel with a fixed budget and everything within reach. This part of Tenerife, even though it is very visited, is also a perfect location to discover and visit the main tourist attractions of the island, to travel with children, with friends or as a couple, to enjoy all types of sports and to taste the best of the gastronomy from Tenerife. The capital is another accommodation option.

If you have a more flexible budget and you want to enjoy an authentic holiday, a hotel like Grand Hotel Mencey could be a choice that you won’t regret. Although it is a 5-star hotel in the centre of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, it has interesting accommodation deals if you book on the website and, additionally, it offers trip plans that you cannot enjoy in any other place: its cooking classroom in Tenerife is an authentic gastronomic luxury to make part of culinary courses. Plan an original trip and book an accommodation with cooking courses for couples or families.

5 star hotel in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

5 star hotel in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

If you prefer the south but you do not want to leave the Peninsula, we recommend you the coast of Almería. It is one of the most unknown places and in recent years has significantly improved its leisure and accommodation options, providing one of the best trip alternatives for families, active tourists, sports lovers and those who want to relax under the sun. The hotels close to Cabo de Gata, in areas such as Retamar or El Toyo, have refurbished their spaces and renewed the entertainment programs.

Huelva is another of the main holiday alternatives for 2015. An striking landscape along with inexhaustible options: beaches, activities for children and, the novelty, dream hotels for couples such as the Adults Only accommodation in Flecha del Rompido, belonging to Garden Hotels chain which has created an authentic summer oasis one the banks of some of the few pristine beaches in Costa de la Luz.

In the list of southern destinations, we could not miss Cádiz. This 2015 seems to be the year of the hotels in Calas de Conil, Roche and the centre of Cádiz, also called Tacita de Plata.

Although if you want to visit and enjoy Cádiz, there are a thousand options: hotels in front of La Barrosa beach, one of the most incredible beach areas in this coast, spa resorts in Chiclana

And, to close the list, we go to Lanzarote. Romantic holiday? In this island we find a wide range of bungalows and luxury villas in Montaña Roja, ideal to get away from the routine and take a break as a couple in any time of the year.  Family trip? Hotels in Playa Flamingo or accommodation in Puerto del Carmen, whatever you choose, you can enjoy your summer 2015 with your loved ones as never before. Comfortably, with affordable budget and no surprises.

Are you ready to make your dreams a reality? We are!!
